The Hebrew University Secondary School Visual Identity

VISUAL IDENTITY & COPYWRITING

Hebrew University High School commonly known as Leyada (literally "next to"), is a semi-private high school in Jerusalem, Israel, established in 1935 by the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Leyada is considered one of the country's most prestigious high schools.
The graphic concept was developed based on one typeface for all different formats, while typography functions both as the content and as a written image. The project maps all the different audiences at the school: students, teachers, parents, school staff and candidates. The logo was designed with reference to the full name as well as the common name of the school.
